Hello from Bowen Island, BC! For many years I was exclusively a birder, but life is too short to be a 1% naturalist.

I'm a software developer by trade, so when I'm not observing nature I try to contribute back:

• I added the drawing controls to the iNat map.
• BC Lepidopterist's Guild site (generic script - can be used with any taxon/place on any site),
• Script to create a list of species from an observation list, allowing you to create a custom, curated list from experts rather than rely on the "research grade" standard:
• A website to view the totality of birds being spotted currently in a region. Data from eBird.
• Tool to generate checklists from raw spreadsheet data for Biodiversity Galiano.
